The Nepal Distilleries, the first alcohol-producing company in Nepal, established in the organizational sector, has launched "Khukuri White Rum" under its popular Khukuri brand.
With this, the Khukuri brand portfolio now includes three types of rums – Khukuri Triple X Rum, Khukuri Spiced Rum, and Khukuri White Rum.
Khukuri White Rum is a clear transparent rum that will meet the demands of summer drinks. It can be drunk over ice or with mixers like cola or juice. Khukuri White Rum can be widely used in making cocktails.
Keeping the original taste of Nepal, the company took more than 2 years to prepare Khukuri white rum. A series of extensive tests and reactions were conducted before white rum was developed into a world-class liquid. In this process, immense support and cooperation were received from all the premium bars and restaurants of Nepal.
Shubash Lamichhane, General Manager of 'The Nepal Distilleries, said that he felt proud that world-class white rum was added to the brand portfolio of Khukuri Rum. He said, “We have now completed the basic portfolio of rum. We believe that white rum will earn foreign currency by exporting it as well as other varieties of rum that we are producing and this will help the national economy"
