Women's SAFF Championship to be held in Nepal

Nepal is organizing the SAFF Women's Championship from September 6-19, 2022 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The Main Organizing Committee led by All Nepal Football Asociation ANFA Senior Vice President, Bir Bahadur Khadka has formed various committees for the upcoming SAFF Women's Championship to be held in Nepal.

On Tuesday ,A meeting of the organizing committee at ANFA Complex also appointed coordinators to each committee.

In the previous tournament, Nepal has not been able to reach the winning rank but this time, Nepal is targeting by making good use of the home ground.

For the second time, Kumar Thapa has been appointed the coach for the Nepali women’s football team.

This is the second chance for Thapa to prove himself, who played in the Nepali national team as a midfielder for five years.
